1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use Proof Battles:
Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication data provided through our OAuth login system.
Video Content: Workout videos recorded through the in-app camera for duel verification purposes. Videos include metadata such as timestamps, duration, and anti-cheat prompt responses.
Activity Data: Duel history, exercise performance, reputation scores, achievements, and platform interactions.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store only Stripe customer IDs and payment intent references — never full card numbers or sensitive financial data.
Device Information: Browser type, device type, and camera capabilities for compatibility and anti-cheat purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to operate the Platform, verify duel results through AI analysis, process payments and payouts, maintain fair competition through anti-cheat systems, display leaderboards and social features, send notifications about duel activity, and improve the Platform's features and performance.
3. Video Storage and Processing
Workout videos are stored securely on Amazon S3 cloud storage. Videos are processed by our AI system for rep counting and verification. Videos may be viewed by duel opponents for result confirmation. If you opt to share replays, they become visible to other users. Videos from completed duels are retained for dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your videos by contacting support.
4. Content Moderation
All uploaded video content is subject to automated content moderation to detect inappropriate or harmful material. Videos flagged by our moderation system may be reviewed by platform administrators. Content that violates our community guidelines will be removed and may result in account penalties.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: Stripe for payment processing, cloud infrastructure providers (AWS) for storage and hosting, AI service providers for video analysis (processed securely, not retained by third parties), and law enforcement when required by law.
6. Public Information
Certain information is publicly visible on the Platform: your display name, trust score, win/loss record, streak, achievements, and leaderboard position. Shared replays and social feed posts are visible to other users. You can control some visibility through your profile settings.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure cloud storage with access controls, JWT-based session management, and regular security audits. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, export your data in a portable format, and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Platform's support channels.
9. Cookies and Local Storage
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use local storage for user preferences (such as onboarding completion status and theme settings). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
