1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Proof Battles ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Proof Battles, particularly features involving real money stakes. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you are legally permitted to participate in competitive activities with monetary stakes in your jurisdiction.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Duels and Competition Rules

All duels must be conducted honestly and in good faith. Video proof must be recorded using the in-app camera without manipulation. Attempting to cheat, manipulate recordings, or exploit the system will result in penalties including trust score reduction, suspension, or permanent ban. The Platform uses AI-based verification and anti-cheat measures to ensure fair competition.

5. Real Money Stakes

Proof Battles facilitates competitive duels that may involve real money stakes. Stakes are held in escrow via Stripe until the duel is resolved. The Platform charges a service fee (commission) on completed duels. You acknowledge that participating in staked duels involves financial risk. The Platform is not responsible for losses incurred through legitimate competition. Refunds are processed for cancelled or disputed duels according to our dispute resolution process.

6. Dispute Resolution

Either participant may dispute the result of a duel within the review period. Disputes are reviewed by platform administrators who may examine video evidence, AI analysis, and anti-cheat data. The administrator's decision is final. Frivolous or repeated false disputes may result in trust score penalties.

7. Content and Video Recordings

By recording and submitting video proof, you grant Proof Battles a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your videos for the purpose of duel verification, replay sharing, and platform improvement. You must not record or upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable. Content moderation is applied to all uploads.

8. Trust Score and Penalties

Your trust score reflects your standing in the community. It increases with honest competition and decreases with disputes, flags, and violations. Penalty tiers include warnings, temporary suspensions, and permanent bans. The Platform reserves the right to modify trust scores and impose penalties at its discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

Proof Battles is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any injuries sustained during workouts, financial losses from duels, or damages arising from use of the Platform. You participate in fitness activities at your own risk. Consult a healthcare professional before engaging in strenuous exercise.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination, any pending stakes will be handled according to our refund policy. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
